Equity Advisory
& Outreach

The Equity Advisory and Outreach Committee (EAOC) is a transformative approach to ensuring marginalized voices are included within public planning processes. This committee ensures equity principles, considerations and measures are infused into regional and local plans, policies, programs and projects that will affect the region for years to come.

Propose a Topic

You are welcome to propose a topic or presentation to be included at our next Equity Outreach and Advisory Committee. Topics should be focused on seeking guidance, input, feedback and/or outreach support from the Committee as these pertain to the Climate Collaborative mission statement and the policies set forth by local and state governments.

Apply to Join

If you serve or represent communities or populations that are underrepresented, marginalized and/or under-resourced in Santa Barbara County, this is your opportunity to support meaningful local climate action!  

Committee members may be eligible to receive a of $100 per hour for meeting participation, and no professional experience is required.


Applications for membership will be considered on a rolling basis. Completing this application will help us to create an environment and process that is as respectful and inclusive as possible, and we are always looking for other members
