Committees are Innovation Hubs
The work of the Collaborative is guided by the Steering Committee, Committees, and members, each playing a key role in identifying opportunities, securing resources, and advancing initiatives that strengthen regional resilience. Committees serve as innovation hubs, bringing together organizations to:
-
Identify climate challenges that require regional coordination
-
Secure funding and technical assistance to support solutions
-
Conduct stakeholder engagement and develop recommendations
-
Pilot and implement policies, programs, and projects
-
Develop tools and resources to expand impact

How to Form a Committee
Committees may be established by the Steering Committee to address specific topic areas and/or practices. Committees may also be proposed by members of the Collaborative via the application linked below. There is no limit to the number of Committees, so long as they can be adequately resourced by elected officers.
Membership to Committees is open to all Collaborative members in good standing. Committee members may designate alternate representatives to participate in meetings. If you are interested in joining a Committee, please reach out to the Chair listed on each Committee’s page.
